Born in Philadelphia, PA, Steve was raised in La Habra, California. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from University of California Riverside. Steve lived in Yerushalayim for 7 years, where he first attended Yeshiva Hamivtar and then graduate school at Hebrew University, Jerusalem.

He returned to the states and became one of the original founders of Kehillas B'nai Shalom. Steve has served as Gabbai, Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President and many other positions. He has helped the Bensalem Outreach Center throughout the years, volunteering as host and sponsor for the annual SEED program, contributing to the video needs of the Outreach Center, serving on our Dinner Committees for our New York and local dinners, and other capacities

Steve has held positions in pharmaceutical and biotech industry and has worked 22 years for the Food and Drug Administration, as a Medical Device Investigator, reporting to the Philadelphia District Office, and the last 8 years as a Quality System Manager, for the Office of Regulatory Affairs Headquarters, Rockville, Maryland.
